Ecotech is proud to associate with distinguished and committed partners in our quest to spread the message of benefits of good STPs in the City. To this end, we were the Technology partners - the trainers for a batch of 28 candidates over a two week rigorous program consisting of classroom theory sessions and field visits. The training program culminated with test of knowledge in a written multiple choice quiz . We are happy to share that all 28 students passed with flying colours. The photos are from the Valedictory function held in Jayanagar on Saturday, March 07, 2020.
Many thanks to Ms. Sowmya Reddy, Hon. MLA of Jayanagar Constituency in Bangalore to have organised the training program with whole hearted support from her and her staff. It was indeed a pleasant surprise to know that she is a qualified Environmental Engineer herself - the face of our new age, new generation of politicians.
It all started when Dr. A Ravindra - Chairman of the Center for Sustainable Development (CSD) called Dr. Ananth Kodavasal up to seek our support for the STP operators training program under the "Skill India" program under the aegis of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. Another major and laudable effort of the Govt. of India.
Dr. Ravindra needs no introduction : A retired Senior IAS officer with an enviable and impeccable track record of dedicated and selfless service to the State and the Nation - Ex Chief Secretary to the Govt. of Karnataka and several other feathers in his cap.
We readily agreed to Dr. Ravindra's request and deputed our Staff consisting of Ramananda S G - Env. Engineer, Devaiah K M - Quality and Training officer and Ranganath E - Senior Field officer as trainers for this Training program. All of them with abundant knowledge, expertise and skill in this trade and a passion to share these with others - True to the essence and spirit of Ecotech - A Hallmark of our Company for over 34 years.
Interaction with some of the fresh graduates gives us confidence that they will go out and serve the community with their newly acquired skills. The motivating factors being :
