Ecotech Engineering is a leader in wastewater treatment, in the business for 35 years. We are headquartered in Bangalore with branches in Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Delhi-NCR. Our vision is to be the number 1 name in decentralised urban STPs and industrial ETPs and grow revenues by 5x in the next five years. Business segments include STP and ETP new plant sales and rectification, and long-term O&M contracts. The Job – Digital Marketing (analyst to manager), based in Bangalore head-office with pan-India responsibility


Your role in a nutshell is to generate a large number of high-quality leads for our sales team. Here is how you will do it.

  • Email Marketing

    • Curate content and automate email marketing using tools like MailChimp, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.

    • Develop, communicate, and own plan for email blasts

    • Perform analytics on email campaigns to filter actively interested prospects for targeted follow-up using methods like tele-calling.

  • LinkedIn marketing

    • Develop, communicate, and own social media calendar for regular LinkedIn posts leveraging marketing content created

    • Leverage the LinkedIn Sales Navigator for increasing connections base of ideal prospects and engagement.

    • Connect with high-quality leads from database and initiate conversations to generate leads.

  • Create marketing content 

    • Generate content for blogs, articles, newsletters, videos, LinkedIn posts, flyers, case studies, news, etc.

    • Develop and own a repository of marketing content that can be repurposed across digital and physical channels

    • Provide marketing content to Sales Team for digital and physical outreach

    • Ensure website is up to date

  • Database generation (Get work done through assistant)

    • Create and own databases of leads across different product segments, market segments, and geographies

    • Propose budget, strategy, and plan to purchase databases

    • Keep database current and communicate with Sales Team

    • Develop lead generation engines: webinars, polls, downloadable whitepapers to harvest contact information from high-quality leads

  • Manage External Agencies

    • Liaise with external agencies for graphic design, video shoots, content writing, social media management as we add these agencies over a period of time.

  • Market analysis

    • Regularly scan the market for opportunities Ecotech can leverage

    • Monitor competition and their marketing efforts

  • People Leadership

    • Help recruit 1-2 members into your business development team over the next couple of years

    • Coach and develop your team

  • Paid (inorganic) Marketing (not immediate requirement)

    • Propose and own advertising budget and liaise with external ad agencies 

    • Develop SEO plan and strategy

The Candidate

  • Min. 3-5 yrs. solid experience in B2B Marketing to MNC clients 

  • Min. 1 yr. experience with Email Marketing and LinkedIn Marketing (Desired: 3 years)

  • Demonstrated experience with MailChimp, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar email automation and analytics tools is a must

  • Experience working with external agencies: advertising, social media etc. required

  • Experience managing a yearly marketing budget of at least Rs. 20 lakh desirable (for manager level)

  • Ability to quickly come up to speed with Ecotech’s business and value proposition

  • Impeccable communication skills – written and verbal

  • Ability to work independently and develop and own marketing initiatives end-to-end

  • Team Player – works well with Sales team and upper management

  • Highly disciplined,  accountable, and meticulous with documentation

  • Willing to contribute in any reasonable way outside of core job duties

  • Highly responsive and proactive with communication
